Lacking any native metahumans, Israel started its own super-soldier program to fill a perceived 'superhero gap' with their hostile neighboring countries.  Israeli-born Daniel Mazar was among three dozen volunteers chosen to undergo the extensive operations, treatment and alterations to become a superhuman combatant.  With cybernetic implants enhancing speed and reflexes, Daniel chose the codename 'Desert Owl' for himself and served well his meta-platoon for many years.  

His current assignment is a missing persons investigation of several fellow supersoldiers, with all evidence pointing towards Crey Industries...

Their goal was to construct an artificial intelligence suited to geological-timeframe deep space exploration, a mentality capable of properly responding to an unknown number of variables while not adversely affected by hundreds of thousands of years of solitude.  The EON Project contracted with Firmament Robotics created a self-awareness module by version 14 although it lacked the solitary adjustments necessary for the project.  In fact the young AI thrived on a constant stream of new sensory input.  Facing the ethical dilemma of what to do with their newly created consciousness the decision was made to emancipate the F.R.EON v14 unit to follow its own desires.

Freon 14's internal superconducting AI unit, built to operate in the near absolute zero environment of interstellar space, required significant amounts of hypercooling appliances to function on the surface of a Class planet which provides it with a host of offensive and defensive capabilities.

A genie from the elemental plane of air, Inclement became trapped within this dimension when a summoner of advanced age and failing health died of a heart attack from the strain of the planar contract bindings.  While blocked from accessing the majority of his vast powers, his control of wind and rain have him being quite powerful by mortal standards.  Inclement adventures to discover a means to break the contract remnants and return to his extradimensional home.  

Inclement is growing increasingly frustrated with his predicament and has been commented on by teammates as taking on a darker air over the past few months.

Over time more and more minds join the group consciousness, with each gain his power levels grow, but also more slow to act as the 'members' ability to reach decisions become increasingly difficult to 'vote' upon.

Nicole Jenkins, better known as the superhero American Aegis, knows Indivisible as Anthony Jenkins, her older brother who spent the better part of his childhood troubled with problems of mental stability.  She remains unsure if this new personality is indeed what it says it is, or if the strain of developing metahuman powers finally pushed her brother over the edge...

Dr Earl Erickson was one of America's rising stars of superscientists that were appearing in growing numbers during the 1950s.  The rise began to falter, however, as familiar problems took more and more of his attention and time.  His youngest daughter Emily developed clinical depression at the age of 6, and in the days before increased psychological knowledge and treatments, Dr Erickson decided to take a more direct approach to the problem.  He worked for years on a process to remove the child's great suffering, ultimately discovering a means to physically extract the depression and 'distill' it down into a tangible mass!  His daughter now cured, he turned his focus on studying this new material and its very unusual properties.  Not only was it (at least to some tests) alive and partially sentient, but could psychoactively affect nearby subjects with strong malevolent tendencies.  Dr Erickson developed restraining devices and a remote control assembly to guide this dark entity from a distance, and in 1961 he started field tests of using the form to serve as a superheroic agent given the codename 'The Living Lethargy'.

Excepting a 3-year span in the late 70s when the dark essense managed to escape its restraints, the Living Lethargy remains a hero for Paragon City to this day.

While setting up his lab in a newly-renovated building at Paragon University, Professor Donald Alighery stumbled across a large sealed crate long forgotten in a gloomy sub-basement. Stamped with an 1881 delivery date, the crate held within a large metallic humanoid form that proved to be a century-old suit of battle armor! While the details of how such a high-tech device came about in the late 1800s remains unknown, Donald uses the battlesuit to drive off the modern threats to Paragon City as Phlogiston, engine of flame!

A 3rd-generational superhero, augmentations performed by her mother (a scientific genius and hero in her own days) allowed Umber to manipulate fields of force about herself for various purposes.  She is somewhat the black sheep of the family, with those before her being Force Bubblers while she manifested a more energetic application.  Still, following in her family's distinguised footsteps, she patrols the city to keep it safe from dangers large and small.
